FALL REGISTRATION OPEN!
Our next session is the fall 2008 semester which begins the week of September 22nd.
Fall registration is now open. You may register for a class on this page.
To register, please scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page until you see the online registration form. Prices for the fall session are at the bottome of this page ( just above the online regiistration form).
Information about our family referral discount, gift certificates and scholarship fund may be found further down on this page.
You may pay with cash, check or money order or online using your credit card with PayPal.
We'll confirm your registration once we have received full payment. Early registration is strongly recommended to help ensure the class time you want doesn’t fill or close. Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled one week before the start of the session. A completed registration form with payment is the only way your registration can be confirmed. Please make sure we have received your paid registration before the first class.
BEFORE REGISTERING PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITONS AND PROGRAM POLICIES CAREFULLY! PLEASE CALL (415) 258-4830 OR email me IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. YOU WILL NEED TO READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND PROGRAM POLICIES BEFORE YOU REGISTER. THANK YOU.
I agree to waive Music Together with Debbi, Inc., and it's director and teacher Debbi Buegeleisen, Music Together LLC, the Hamilton Community Center, the City of Novato and all it's agents and employees, the Sonoma Ballet Conservatory and it's owners of all claim for personal injury or property damage that may arise from use of the facilities before, during, or after Music Together classes. I also accept responsibility for my safety and the safety of my children and any other children attending with me at the studio before, during, and after Music Together classes. I agree to abide by the regulations listed hereunder.
You will be required to sign a release form stating that you agree to the above terms and conditions. After you register for classes a release form will be sent to you. Please make sure that you sign and return this form before or by the first class of the session. You and your child will not be able to attend class until we have your signed waiver form!
PROGRAM POLICIES:
1) Canceling your registration before the first class of the session: You may cancel your registration any time before the first class and receive a refund. (Please note that if you paid online with PayPal a $6 fee will be held).
Canceling your registration after the first class of the session: Tuition is refundable up to 24 hours after the first class of the session, no questions asked. Material fee ($37) for opened materials and a $16 processing fee will be held. After this 24 hour period, no refunds can be given. This is regardless of whether you attended the first class or not. Before registering, please think carefully about your child's nap schedule and if the class time you sign up for is compatible. Please understand that we can not give refunds for reasons such as nap time conflicts or other scheduling difficulties. If you wish to switch into a different class time after you register or after the start of the session you may do so provided there is space in the class you wish to switch to. Your registration is not transferable to another Music Together center.
2) Making up missed classes: No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes. You may make-up to 3 missed classes per session: Make-ups may be taken at any other classes (at either location) that Music Together with Debbi offers during the session that you are registered in provided there is space available. If there are no other classes being offered at your location besides the class you are registered in, the only option would be to attend a make- up at the other location. Make-ups are offered as a courtesy and are in no way a guarenteed part of your enrollment. No refunds or credits will be given for missed make-up classes that you scheduled. Make-ups do not carry over to the next session. If, after scheduling a make-up, you find you can not do it, you may cancel the scheduled make-up ahead of time. If you miss your make-up due to illness you can contact Debbi and your scheduled make-up will be deleted. To schedule or cancel a make-up class you must go to the online makeup scheduler. Click the following link: "http://makeups.musictogether.com/ You will need a password: the password is "singallday". If you are having trouble scheduling your make-up online, please email me or call (415) 258-4830. We suggest you schedule your make-ups early in the session as there are a limited number of make-up slots available in each class. If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a class later in the session you may schedule and attend a make-up before the missed class. If you schedule a make-up and then decide you wil be unable to attend, please use the online make-up scheduling system to cancel your make-up so that the spot is available to another family. Since there are limited number of make up slots available, we really appreciate your consideration and cooperation with this.
3) It is essential that adults participate in class by singing, moving, playing instruments, following the teacher and actively engaging/focusing on their child. Modeling the musical behavior and participation for your child will make them want to do it too!
4) Please keep talking and socializing to before and after class. We have the rest of the day and week to talk. Chatting during class is discouraged- we do our best to create a musical 45 minutes for children and their parents, and our emphasis is placed on the relationship between parent and child, not child/child (or parent/parent). It is not a playgroup atmosphere!
5) We do not expect or require that children sit with their parents for the whole class. Children are free to move about and explore the room and are encouraged to move in lots of ways. However, we try to discourage running for safety reasons. THE SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN IS A PRIORITY. Parents & caregivers are responsible for the behavior of their children. You must be ready to re-direct if your child or children attending with you engages in any behavior that is unsafe to themselves or anyone else or is causing or contributing to class disruption. Usually the more the child's parent or caregiver participates in the class activities, the more engaged the child is. If your child is consistently behaving in a way that presents a safety issue for other children in the classroom (ie hitting, biting, pushing, throwing things or running wildly), please take your child out of the room for a moment until the behavior is resolved. If the behavior persists, Debbi will contact you and discuss options. This may result in refunding the remaining portion of your tuition (minus the $36 materials fee).
6) Food is not allowed during class, as it can be a distraction to other children as well as possibly causing allergy or clean-up problems. Please make sure your child has eaten before class. Bottles, breastfeeding and no-spill sippy cups are fine, especially during lullaby time. If you or your chid must eat during class, please step completely out of the classroom and put all food away before returning.
7) If you or your child are not feeling well and you think you or they may be contagious, please do not come to class. You may attend up to 3 make-up classes each session on other days that Music Together with Debbi is offered, at either the Sonoma and Novato locations. Please see above (item #2) for more information regarding make-up classes.
8) Please bring socks to class (adults and children). Wearing socks helps to keep our floor mats clean. Our dance floors can be somewaht slippery so you may find it helpful to wear non- slip socks. Please remove outdoor shoes (adults & children) before stepping onto our mats. You may place shoes either outside the classroom in the waiting room area or in the classroom in the cubbies.
9) Please leave toys at home or in the car, as they can be distracting to your child and other children during class.
10) Please turn off cell phones and refrain from using them during class. Doctors "on call" may switch cell phone or pager onto vibrate.
11) GUESTS AND VISITORS
Any number of adults are welcome to attend class at no charge with the registered family. You do not need to let me know in advance when other adults attend unless it’s an extraordinarily large group. Please inform your guests that we expect them to participate to the best of their ability and not to chit- chat during class!
Siblings under 8 months old at time of registration may attend all classes for free when attending with their registered sibling.
Siblings and other child guests of the registered family may attend the occasional class with registered family if space permits.
If there is room we do not charge for the occasional visiting child, however a contribution to our scholarship fund, in a denomination of your choosing, is greatly appreciated. More information about our scholarship fund can be found below.
Please do not show up with an unregistered child without checking first if there is room for your guest. Please check beforehand by emailing debbibuegeleisen@comcast.net or calling (415) 258-4830. Please call or email by the evening before your class. Phone calls and emails made on the same morning as class will not be received in time. Space is limited in classes and if you do not check first to see if there is room for your guest they may be turned away.
Any child attending class on a regular basis must be registered.
This completes the terms and policies section. The information found below is useful information for you that we suggest you read but it is not program policies. Pricing and information on how to register can be found further below on this page right before you get to the online registration form.

OUR NEW FAMILY REFERRAL DISCOUNT!
Starting spring 2008 we began offering a referral discount of $10.00 off your tuition of a spring, fall & winter session and $7.00 off a summer session for every family that you refer that signs up for a Music Together with Debbi class. There is no limit to the number of families/referral discounts you can receive but your discount can only be applied if both you and the the family you refer enrolls and attends in the same session. (You do not have to both be in the same class or at the same location but do have to both be enrolled in the same session). Also we need to hear from the family that you refer that you were the one who referred them.
We have started this offer in the spring 2008 session. If, in the past you have referred families to us that have signed up we truly thank you for this and apologize that we are not able to make this offer retro-active.
Here's how it works: You sign up in the usual way, either online through our website with Paypal or through the mail or in class with a check, money order or cash. You pay the full amount and after the session starts if you have referred other families that also signed up during the same session you will receive a check from Music Together with Debbi equal to the amount of discounts you earned through your registered referrals.
So when telling your friends and aquaintances about our classes please make sure to tell them to let us know that you referred them so that, if they sign up, you may get a discount on your tuition! (If they do not not let us know that it was you that referred them you will not receive the discount). Thanks!!
Please note. The following restrictions and terms apply: Only one discount of $10 for winter spring and fall sessions or $7.00 for summer) will be given per referred family. For example: A new family signs up for the spring session and tells me that they were referred by two families that are also both registering for the spring sesson. We are only able to give one discount. Discount will be given to family who first referred the new family. In cases where two families told the new family at the same time, the discount will be divided in half by the two referring families (with each referring family receiving $5.00 off of their tuition). We are not able to give the full $10 discount (or $7 discount for summer sessions) to both the referring families. Please also be aware that once a referral discount for a new family has been issued, no more discounts will be given for that same referred family in any future sessions. In summary: One new, referred family = one discount, one time only. Discount amounts shown above are based on families that sign up at the beginning of the session, paying the full amount of tuition. If families join after the start of the session and their tuition is pro-rated, referral discounts received mayl be adjustered/lowered accordingly.
If the new referred family withdraws their registration before the session starts or within 24 hours of the first class of the session, resulting in their tuition being refunded, the family that referred them does not receive a discount for their referral.
Please let us know if you would like any more information or have any questions about our new referral discount.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We are always grateful for contributions of any amount into our schoarship fund. If you would like to donate please email me . This was founded to help families less fortunate or in times of need begin to experience or continue with our program. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the director upon request and depend on availability of funds. There is always a need for this funding. Thank you!
No more scholarships available for the fall 2008 session.
For tuition/payment and information on how to register, please see below:
FALL 2008 TUITION: (BOTH LOCATIONS)
Please note that there will be an additional one-time registration fee of $15 for new families registering for the first time for a Music Together with Debbi class.
Even if you have taken a Music Together class before at another Music Together center, families enrolling in a Music Together wth Debbi class for the first time are required to pay this one time registration fee. If you have previewed a Music Together with Debbi class before but have not registered for an entire session with us you will also be required to pay this fee.
Tuition for the 10 week Fall 2008 session is $195 for the first child for returning families and $210 for the first child for new families. Price includes materials which consist of professionally recorded music on CD (2 copies), a beautifully illustrated songbook, and first-time families will receive a parent's guide about children's musical development. After the start of the fall session, new registrations will be accepted through the 3rd week of class on a space available basis and will be pro-rated. When registering online after the start of the session online registration pricing will be adjusted to reflect the pro-rated amount. There is no need for you to subtract anything to get the pro-rated amount if registering online.
2nd child (siblings 8 months and up) is $130.
3rd child and infants under 8 months at time of registration may attend class free if they attend with a registered sibling. (If you will be bringing a third child or a sibling under 8 months with you to class you do not need to enter their information on the registration form where it says student or sibling over 8 months. But please do let us know that they will be attending with you by adding their name and birthdate in the comments section on the registration form. Thank you!
Pregnant Mom Deal - if you're due to give birth within 2 weeks of the start or end of the semester - pay for 5 classes and take them any time within the semester: $118. When registering online use the password "pregnant mom" as a coupon code to receive the discount.
The discount for 2nd child apply to siblings only. This discount for siblings reflects the fact that each family only receives one set of music materials. If there is another child who is not a sibling that you wish to bring to class you must register them separately at the "first child" rate so that they will also receive their own set of music materials.
Please note that we are unable to confirm you in a class until we have received your registration paid in full. Please do not plan on showing up to register at the first class with a check. Most classes fill before the session starts. To ensure a space we advise early registration. We are unable to hold any spots in classes without your full payment. Thank you for your understanding.
Sonoma registration will close on September 10th, 2008 (2 weeks before the start of the fall session). If you wish to be registered in a Sonoma class this fall please make sure we have your paid registration by this deadline. Thank you for your cooperation.
HOW TO REGISTER ONLINE WITH PAYPAL:
Please fill out the online registration form below, (scroll down until you see registration form) entering ALL requested information. You may complete all registration details and follow up with your payment at a later time if you choose, but please be aware that you will not be confirmed in the class without your full payment. A registration request by itself (registration without payment) will NOT hold your spot in class and the class may fill. Full payment is the only way your registration can be confirmed. Online registration pricing is adjusted accordingly to the pro-rated amount after the start of the session. You will not need to deduct anything as the correct amount will already be in the system.
HOW TO REGISTER PAYING WITH A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER:
Please make your check or money order payable to Debbi Buegeleisen (see tuition prices above). Please mail check or money order to: Debbi Buegeleisen, 1012 Esther Drive, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. You will not be registered in the class until your payment is received. When mailing your payment, please make sure you include a printed copy of the registration form below with all completed information. Or you may fill in and submit the online registration form with ALL requested information and then make sure to mail your payment.
If joining after the start of the session and paying by check, please subtract $15 for every class you have missed, (up to week 3).
For example, if you are starting the second week of class, subtract $15 off the price. and if starting on week 3, subtract $30.
2nd child (siblings 8 months and up): please subtract $13 for each week you missed (up to week 3).
3rd child and infants under 8 months at time of registration may attend class free if they attend with a registered sibling.
Pregnant Mom Deal - if you're due to give birth within 2 weeks of the start or end of the semester - pay for 5 classes and take them any time within the semester: $118.
The Hamilton Community Center (City of Novato Parks and Recreation Department) and the Sonoma Ballet Conservatory do NOT accept payments for Music Together classes. Registration is handled directly through the director, Debbi Buegeleisen.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read all of these payment policies/procedures. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have or if I can be of help in any way!
Warmly,
~Debbi Buegeleisen
